Vessel-Information Standards

Premium Yacht Marketplace™ publishes vessel listings that combine owner-provided, broker-provided, manufacturer, public-record, and third-party information. This page explains the standards we apply and the verification we expect buyers to perform.

Information We Publish

• Year, make, model, length, propulsion, and headline specifications.
• Owner and use history where disclosed and permitted for publication.
• Damage disclosures (storm, lightning, and material damage) where disclosed.
• Documentation status (Coast Guard documentation, state registration, service records).
• Photography categorized by area of the vessel.

What We Do Not Publish

Hull Identification Numbers (HIN) are treated as sensitive and are not displayed publicly. Where a HIN photo or confirmation is on file, only that fact is disclosed, not the HIN itself. Sensitive personal information about owners is not published.

Disclosure Cards

Each listing displays a disclosure card summarizing ownership, damage disclosures, bottom-paint status, and documentation status. Where a data point has not been provided or verified, the card indicates that the information is not available and directs the reader to contact the broker rather than presenting an unverified value.

Photography

Photographs are provided by the owner, broker, manufacturer, or Vigor Media’s editorial team. Photographs are intended to depict the specific vessel unless clearly labeled as stock, sistership, or manufacturer imagery.

Corrections

We correct inaccuracies promptly upon notification. If you believe a listing contains incorrect information, contact us through the Site.

Buyer Verification

Vessel information is provided for general informational and marketing purposes. Before any purchase decision, buyers should independently verify all material facts through current documentation, professional inspection, marine survey, sea trial, and qualified legal, tax, and financial review.
